Czech Airlines Technics to Expand Its Co-Operation with Leasing Companies


Alongside air transport, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the demand for aircraft maintenance services. As a result, for over a year, Czech Airlines Technics (CSAT) has been providing its services to new clients, namely leasing companies, alongside traditional airline customers. Their number has been growing steadily, and a new service model of one-stop-shop maintenance has been created to suit their needs.

Czech Airlines Technics to Provide Its Services to Eurowings and Bees Airline


Czech Airlines Technics (CSAT) has expanded its customer portfolio. Eurowings, German air carrier, that launched operations of its base at Václav Havel Airport Prague last November, now uses CSAT line maintenance services for its Airbus A320ceo and A320neo family aircraft based in Prague. Another carrier, Bees Airline, that has been operating its flights between Prague and Ukraine since October 2021, has ordered CSAT on-call line maintenance services for the airline’s Boeing 737-800.

Czech Airlines Technics Increases Its Landing Gear Overhaul Capacity


Despite the aviation sector performance drop, Czech Airlines Technics (CSAT) has managed to secure a significant number of landing gear maintenance jobs. Last year, the company completed 33 landing gear set overhauls, which exceeds the average annual capacity of the division. The recent modernisation of the electroplating and paint shops and additional investments in the landing gear shop equipment have helped to increase the efficiency and quality of work. The division clients include KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Transavia Airlines, Transavia France, Smartwings and new contract was recently signed also with LOT Polish Airlines.
