Prague, 17 February 2025 – Czech Airlines Technics (CSAT) Board of Directors is being expanded to a three-member echelon with Martin Dvořák appointed the role of a third board member effective 1 March 2025. In his new position, Mr. Dvořák will be in charge of commerce and strategic development of the company.
“We welcome the decision made by our owner, Prague Airport, to appoint Martin Dvořák a member of the Board of Directors. I value his thorough knowledge and ability to connect strategic thinking with practical implementation. His customer-oriented approach, ability to lead teams and put into practice effective changes will help us carry out our long-term vision and move CSAT forward. I believe that his approach and energy will be a great asset to the entire team and our organisation,” Petr Doberský, Chairman of the Czech Airlines Technics Board of Directors, said.
As a member of the CSAT Board of Directors, Martin Dvořák will focus on the company’s business and strategic development. His responsibilities will include human resource development and management, strategic planning, marketing, and sales of technical services. He will also oversee the recently established development projects organisational unit. The CSAT environment is not entirely new to him, as he has been helping the company in the role as an external consultant regarding the transformation of corporate culture and the introduction of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) over the past year.
“I am taking on the position of member of the CSAT Board of Directors with the desire to help even more than before, with full responsibility for, and a greater impact of, my actions. My broad experience from the past has allowed me to help in various areas – from commerce, customer relations and the operational efficiency perspective, to focusing energy and time on the right things, alongside strategy conception and its implementation in everyday life. All of this must always be related to the customer and the people in the company,” Martin Dvořák explains his vision and adds: “For me, trust and respect for the opinions of others are some of key qualities. During my previous work, I have found these qualities in both my future colleagues on the board of directors and all CSAT employees with whom I have had the opportunity to work. At the same time, I appreciate their expertise, the fact that they are enthusiastic about their work, and care about CSAT. I also see their desire to change things for the better together, even though it means very often getting into new and uncomfortable situations.”
Martin Dvořák brings to CSAT a wealth of experience in the field of human resources development and management, which he has been passing on to CSAT for the past year and a half under the KogiCon consulting company’s banner. Previously, he participated in the creation and implementation of long-term strategies and the development of sales teams in several companies, such as Česká spořitelna and Dr. Max. He spent the longest part of his professional career – almost seven years – at Skanska, where he worked as HR Director.
With the appointment of Martin Dvořák, the CSAT board of directors will consist of three members effective 1 March this year. Petr Doberský remains the chairman of the board of directors, focusing on the management of CSAT, and Vladimír Müller, who heads the aircraft maintenance area, continues his role as the vice chairman of the board of directors.
